Various fruit juice for gout

Uric acid is the result of purine metabolism in the body. Purines found in all living things. We also have a purine, also plants, animals as well. Purine also resulted from the destruction of the cells in the body, either because of normal mechanisms or because of certain diseases. When we consume food, either vegetable or meat, purines will move well into our body. Gout can occur when levels of uric acid is too much, which occurs due to excessive intake of purines as well.

In normal conditions, uric acid released by the body through urine or feces, to maintain the balance of the uric acid levels in the body. However, when the amount of uric acid is too much, then the kidneys will be unable to process uric acid for disposal. As a result, uric acid will accumulate in the joints and tissues. Thus, it can cause joint pain and swelling. Some foods that contain high purine are:

• Offal
• Seafood: shrimp, squid, clams, cuttlefish, oysters, mussels, crab, sardines, anchovy.
• Canned food: corned beef, sardines.
• Extracts of meat: beef jerky, shredded.
• Beef, mutton, horse meat
• Duck meat
• Nuts including its refined
• Vegetables: spinach, cauliflower, mushroom, beans, cassava leaves, papaya leaves, and kale.
• Ice cream, cheese, eggs, broth or gravy is thick.
• Certain fruits: coconut, durian, and pineapple.
• Foods that are fried or contain coconut milk.
• Foods that are cooked with butter.

goutGout sufferers are advised to consume plenty of water to help the expenditure of purines from the body, multiply to consume complex carbohydrates (like rice, cassava, bread, and sweet potatoes), reduce the consumption of simple carbohydrates (such as syrup, sugar, cotton candy), and do regular exercise especially for those who are obese. There are also several types of fruits and vegetables that can be taken to avoid excess of uric acid. Vegetables and fruit for uric acid, among other things, strawberries, guava, papaya, mango, orange, lemon, passion fruit, star fruit, soursop, kiwi, yam, celery, red pepper, cucumber, chicory, cabbage, scallions, turmeric, and ginger. To make it more tasty, these fruit and vegetable are combined as  juice for gout recipe as follows:

Yellow Passion Fruit Juice
ingredients:
150 g of passion fruit, take the flesh
60 g cabbage, cut into pieces
150 g of star fruit, cut into pieces
60 mL of ice water
3 ice cubes
½ cm turmeric
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of lemon
How to Make it:
1. Enter the passion fruit, cabbage, star fruit, ice cubes, ice water, turmeric, honey, lime juice into blender jar.
2. Puree until smooth, then strain.
3. Pour the juice into a glass and serve immediately.

Yam juice
ingredients:
100 g of yam, cut into pieces
100 g of cabbage, cut into pieces
150 mL of sweet lime
1 tablespoon of honey
3 ice cubes
How to Make it:
1. Insert pieces of yam, cabbage, sweet orange juice, honey, and ice cubes into the blender jar.
2. Puree until smooth.
3. Pour juice into serving glasses.

Red-yellow juice
ingredients:
150 g of mango, peeled and then take its flesh.
100 g of strawberries, peeled and cut.
1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
60 mL of ice water.
4 mint leaves.
3 ice cubes.
How to Make it:
1. Insert pieces of mango, strawberry, lemon juice, water, ice, mint leaves and ice cubes into the blender jar.
2. Puree until smooth.
3. Pour juice into serving glasses.

Cucumber juice chives
ingredients:
300 g of cucumber, chopped
40 g of leaves chives, chopped
100 g of green pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of of honey
3 ice cubes
How to Make it:
1. Process cucumber slices, leaves chives and paprika into juice extractor. Set aside the juice.
2. Pour mixture of cucumber juice, chives leaves, and bell pepper into serving glasses.
3. Enter the lemon juice, of honey, and chunks of ice cubes. Stir well, serve immediately.
